Free Reentry Transport: Your Ride to Opportunity

Headline: Removing Barriers with Reliable, Free Rides

Successfully navigating reentry requires access. Konnect Transit provides completely free transportation for justice-involved individuals  in the Atlanta metro area who need reliable rides to take crucial steps forward. Our free service, funded by grants and community donations, covers transportation to:

    • Probation and parole appointments

    • Job interviews, training programs, and new employment

    • Educational programs (School, GED, College)

    • Mentorship and support groups (including programs with our valued partner, Four Corners Group)

    • Counseling, healthcare, and other vital resource appointments

  • Accessibility: Our entire fleet is wheelchair accessible, ensuring inclusive service for all clients.

How to Access: Access to these free rides is typically coordinated through referrals from case managers, probation officers, workforce specialists, and partner organizations like Four Corners Group. Our goal is simple: transportation costs should not prevent progress for those rebuilding their lives.

We provide scheduled, round-trip van services from various neighborhoods in Atlanta to Georgia’s six Youth Detention Centers andother juvenile correctional facilities. Our passenger transit vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts to ensure accessibility for everyone, while our trained drivers create a supportive and compassionate environment throughout your journey. By offering a reliable and caring transportation solution, we aim to ease the challenges faced by families, ensuring they can maintain a close connection with their loved ones during their detainment.

We believe that staying connected should not come with a financial burden. That’s why we offer our transportation services completely free of charge, ensuring families can maintain regular contact with their young loved ones in juvenile correctional facilities without any financial strain.

Service Area & Routes

Serving the Atlanta Metro and Beyond

 Our fleet operates routes designed to serve key needs within the Atlanta metro area and surrounding counties. This includes transportation to various State Prisons, local correctional facilities, Youth Development Centers, probation offices, and community partner locations (like Four Corners Group facilities). We are continuously evaluating routes based on community demand for both family visitation and reentry transport.
